Certificate:
Learners who completed the program and achieved 85% attendance or above for the program will receive a certificate issued jointly by the training service provider.
PROGRAM DETAILS
The Guardians of the Silver Age – Eldercare Talent Training Program comes with a mission of “Redefining Care”, aiming to change the public perceptions of the eldercare industry. Hence to accomplish independent living for seniors to cope with the challenge of Population ageing.
*Full Time Eldercare Talent Training Program* – A free of charge comprehensive training and employment system established to equip learners with solid foundation of knowledge and practical skills.
*Upskilling Workshop* – short term profound training designed to address latest industry knowledge and skills to serving healthcare staff and supervisors. Aimed to bring changes starting from institution to whole industry.

Participate in our Guardians of the Silver Age – Eldercare Talent Training Program to enhance the lives of the silver generation! Through just 8 weeks* of comprehensive vocational training, and interest and talent matching, you will obtain our latest career market update, professional advice and on-the-job support. This helps develop your fullest potential in your career as a guardian of the silver age!
By coaching learners on compassion-based eldercare, we can improve the quality of life among the silver generation. Modelled after interactive teaching methods from abroad, this program incorporates practical sessions and scenario-based simulations, enabling learners to cultivate higher levels of empathy when dealing with difficult situations. In line with industry developments, instructors will also be covering the latest Geron-technologies and applications relating to clothing, food, living environment and transportation. Employer partners whom we have partnered with on this program will also be providing job interview opportunities for eldercare-related positions.

We will then go through the program details. After the interview, complete the online test to let us know more about you:

We aim to improve the quality of life among the silver generation, and train learners to deliver an eldercare service with compassion-based values. With a focus on practical, hands-on experiences, this professional training program is designed in line with market needs. We look forward to welcoming you into the forces of eldercare to meet Hong Kong’s growing demands and inspire healthier and more fulfilling lives among the elderly.
Program Highlights:
With a focus on compassion-based eldercare approach, we train learners in providing quality care, rehabilitation and nursing services that are tailored to the needs of the elderly.
In line with industry developments, this program offers an in-depth overview on the latest geron-technologies and applications relating to clothing, food, living environment and transportation.
Learners will be prepped to meet the current and future needs of the eldercare market, based on the most sought-after profiles and skills as required by employers.
We draw reference from overseas interactive teaching methods by cultivating skills and empathy through scenario-based simulations and role-playing sessions.
Part of the program will be conducted in an actual work environment, allowing learners to gain real-life experiences as they interact with industry practitioners.
Learners will have the opportunity to interact with experienced practitioners and innovators in various eldercare fields and broaden their career horizons.
Graduates will be offered with our latest career market update, professional advice and on-the-job support.
Graduates will be able to access professional career counselling services for up to 6 months as they adapt to new challenges in their careers.
