Manual Software Testing is a kind of Quality Assurance method. Testers manually execute tests to find out the loopholes and bugs in the software. The innovation and technological industry is becoming more and more prevalent in Hong Kong recently, and the role of Manual Quality Assurance Tester is becoming more and more important.
Funded by Credit Suisse APAC Foundation, this course aims at providing Manual Quality Assurance Tester training to 18-29 years old youth with Special Educational Needs (SEN) who have left school. The course is designed with our Employer Partners, to train your testing skills in a short period of time and to improve your social and communication skills. Graduates will obtain our latest career market updates and professional advice.
Study period: 8 weeks
Date: 24 April – 16 June 2023
Time: Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 4pm (1-hour lunch break)
Location: Lai Chi Kok (Near MTR)/ Online Class
Language: Chinese (Cantonese) and English
Quota: 18 per Cohort
Certificate: Learners who completed the program will receive a certificate issued jointly by our Delivery Partner.

The program is fully funded by Credit Suisse APAC Foundation, and is designed in consultation with employers. The integrated curriculum equips you with the essential skills of being a manual quality assurance professional, develops your positive behavioral skills and mindset, and helps you to understand the career path and prospects of the industry.
Graduates will have a wide range of career options, such as Software Quality Assurance Tester, Web Quality Assurance Tester, and Mobile App Quality Assurance Tester.

Social Enterprise provides consultancy and training services in the health care and social service sector of Hong Kong. We provide specialists and consultation services to industry leaders, e.g. TWGHs, Generation Hong Kong, Ocean Park, Hospital Authority, etc.
Mr. Anthony Law has 25 years of software development and management experience in the mobile application and financial technology industry. He founded a mobile gaming company 10 years ago, and was awarded the Best Digital Entertainment (Entertainment Software) Gold Award by the Hong Kong ICT Awards in 2012. He has developed the information infrastructure system for different enterprises, including the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing, the MTR Corporation Limited, and the Civil Aviation Department.

Fully funded by Credit Suisse APAC Foundation, who shares a common vision with Generation Hong Kong to equip disadvantaged young people with skills and education for a productive future, our organisation is partnering Employer Partners to deliver a tailor-made program to support youth with Special Education Needs into a Manual Quality Assurance Tester role.
Our program will prepare SEN youth's skills, behaviour and mindset to be job ready, and provide them with counselling services to improve their self-understanding and future career orientation. Graduates will obtain our latest career market update and professional advice.
