Manual Quality Assurance Testing Program

Are you attentive to details and passionate in IT industry?

Funded by Credit Suisse APAC Foundation, this course aims at providing a Manual Quality Assurance Tester training to 18-29 years old youth with Special Educational Needs (SEN) who have left school. The course is designed with our Employer Partners, to train your testing skills in a short period of time and to improve your social and communication skills. Graduates can get job interview opportunities from our Employer Partners.

Program Details

Study period: 10 weeks
Date: 31 August 2021 – 5 November 2021
Time: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (1-hour lunch break)
Location: Unit C, 4/F, 760 Cheung Sha Wan Rd, Lai Chi Kok, Kowloon, Hong Kong (Dream Impact)
Language: Chinese (Cantonese) and English
Fee: Free
Quota: 10
Certificate: Learners who completed the program will receive a certificate issued jointly by our Delivery Partner.

Career Prospects

The program is fully funded by Credit Suisse APAC Foundation, and is designed in consultation with employers. The integrated curriculum equips you with the essential skills of being a manual quality assurance professional, develops your positive behavioral skills and mindset, and helps you to understand the career path and prospects of the industry. Graduates are guaranteed the opportunity to interview with employer partners.

Graduates will have a wide range of career options, such as: Software Quality Assurance Tester, Web Quality Assurance Tester and Mobile App Quality Assurance Tester.

  • School-leavers aged 18-29 with special educational needs (SEN)
  • Have basic self-care abilities
  • Basic computer and Windows system operation knowledge
  • Keen to start a full-time job immediately after completion of the training. Subject to getting a job offer, and will not take other full-time courses in the next 12 months
  • Legally permitted to work in Hong Kong
  • Passed the online test and interview

About Credit Suisse APAC Foundation

Fully funded by Credit Suisse APAC Foundation, who shares a common vision with Generation Hong Kong to equip disadvantaged young people with skills and education for a productive future, our organisation is partnering Employer Partners to deliver a tailor-made program to support youth with Special Education Needs into a Manual Quality Assurance Tester role.

Our program will prepare SEN youth's skills, behaviour and mindset to be job ready, and provide them with counselling services to improve their self-understanding and future career orientation. Graduates would be able to get a job interview opportunity from our Employer Partners.
