Overview

Transform your career with our Data & Business Analytics Program — an intensive, employment-focused programme designed for motivated career-switchers who aspire to build a career in data analytics, business analytics, reporting, operations analysis, or related fields.

This programme prepares learners to become data-enabled analysts who can combine analytical thinking, business understanding, stakeholder communication, and AI-assisted tools to support effective decision-making in real-world business environments.

According to the Future of Jobs Report 2025, Data Analysts and Data Scientists remain among the fastest-growing professions globally, with 86% of employers expecting AI and big data technologies to transform their businesses. As AI becomes increasingly embedded across industries, employers are no longer looking solely for individuals who can operate tools—they are seeking professionals who can work alongside AI, interpret business needs, generate actionable insights, and drive better business outcomes.

Unlike traditional data courses that focus only on technical tools, this bootcamp trains learners to:

  • clarify business problems and analytical requirements
  • clean, validate, and analyse data using Excel, SQL, Python, and Power BI
  • apply KPI logic and analytical thinking to identify business insights
  • communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • use AI and automation tools responsibly to improve workflow efficiency

Through hands-on group projects, business cases, stakeholder role-plays, and a final capstone(live) project, learners will practise solving realistic business problems under ambiguity — not just building dashboards.

The ability to use data to support business decisions

A mindset that moves beyond analysis towards business recommendations and impact

Career Prospects

Graduates will have a wide range of career options, such as Data analyst, business data analyst, business intelligence analyst, reporting analyst, performance analyst, operations analyst, business analysis assistant, etc.

Graduate Story

Graduate Story

“Although I had no prior experience in the industry, the Live Project provided through the programme allowed me to build a portfolio that showcased what I had learned and gave me the opportunity to be seen by employers and enter the field.”

— Tiffany Tam | Data Analytics Programme Graduate

During the programme, Tiffany and her fellow learners worked on a Live Project analysing operational data from one of Hong Kong’s largest solar power systems. Through this real-world experience, they strengthened their skills in data analysis and data visualisation while tackling complex energy datasets.

The project required learners to work with raw data, understand data collection methodologies, clean and prepare datasets from scratch, conduct analyses, create visualisations for reporting, and develop actionable recommendations. By applying classroom learning to an authentic business challenge, learners gained hands-on experience and built a portfolio that enhanced their employability.
