Generation Hong Kong supported by Macquarie Group Foundation to strengthen Hong Kong’s talent ecosystem
Hong Kong, July 2026 — Generation Hong Kong is proud to announce the Macquarie Group Foundation (Foundation) as its newest grant partner, united by a shared commitment to strengthen Hong Kong’s education‑to‑employment ecosystem and expand access to economic opportunities.
Building on the Foundation’s long‑standing global collaboration with Generation in Australia, the UK and France, this marks the launch of the Foundation’s support in Hong Kong. From 2026, this funding will enable Generation Hong Kong to deepen its sector influence while continuing to deliver bootcamp programmes that prepare, place, and support individuals into meaningful careers. It will also strengthen our organisational capacity, supporting us to explore innovative financing models and invest in internal infrastructure, ensuring sustainable growth and long‑term impact as we respond to the evolving needs of Hong Kong’s workforce.
Our vision goes beyond supporting people facing barriers into jobs. We aim to catalyse systemic change by working with cross‑sector partners to build a future‑ready talent ecosystem in Hong Kong, aligning with the Foundation’s Future Ready program, which supports people on their path to employment. The Foundation provides funding to organisations that help people overcome the barriers they face to employment and a better future. Macquarie employees also contribute their time, money and skills to further strengthen their impact.
